Eastville, Midville and New Leake Annual Parish Meeting
Minutes of the meeting held at Eastville, Midville and New Leake Village Hall on Wednesday 14 May 2025.
Present: Councillor Glyn Nunn (Parish Chair), four members of the public. Minutes taken by the Clerk, Mrs Deborah Money.
The meeting was opened at 1830.
1. Welcome from Chairman and introduction to your Parish, District and County Councillors and Clerk.
No County Councillor was present. Councillors Glyn Nunn, Simon Thorold, Michele Baker, Ian Money, were introduced to the public.
2. Notes from the Annual Parish meeting held on Wednesday 12th May 2024:
To resolve as a correct record and for the Chairman of the meeting to sign the official minutes.
It was agreed with no objections to accept the minutes as a correct record and the chairman signed them.
3. To receive short reports from District and County Councillors.
a) District Councillor Dickinson read out her monthly report.
b) County Councillor Humes did not attend and did not send a report.
4. To receive a copy of the 2024-2025 financial report.
Copies of the financial report were made available, and no questions were raised.
5. To obtain a summary of the council’s endeavours throughout 2024-2025.
Chairman spoke about what had happened in the previous year but has not written a report.
Councillor Nunn has not submitted a report for Leake United Charities.
Councillor Baker has not submitted a report for The Alenson & Erskine Foundation.
6. Short comments and statements from residents
A member of the public said that after speaking to other residence they were unhappy that our Annual Parish meeting was not advertised any better.
The meeting closed at 1845.
