Minutes of the remote meeting of Eastville, Midville and New Leake Group Parish Council meeting held on Monday 15 June 2020 at 7.15pm

1. Apologies for absence
Apologies: Apologies were accepted from Cllr Thorold
Present: Cllrs Dickinson, Scott, J Sweetman, Baker and Nunn (Chair)
Also present: County Cllr Bowkett

2. To recieve repors from representatives on outside bodies
a. Police report: there was no Police report
b. Dist Cllr Dickinson reported:
i. The alliance between ELDC and Boston BC will not be going ahead at this time, it will be on the agenda for further discussion at Boston.
ii. The foodbank has not been used/requested for anyone in the Group Parish. Help is still available if needed by anyone.
iii. ELDC are offering advice to businesses regarding safe working methods as we move out of Covid 19.
c. County Cllr Bowkett reported:
i. Test and Trace is now live and corona virus testing is now available
ii. LCC are looking at potential devolution and are in discussion with Central Government.
iii. Household waste recycling centres have had over 23,800 bookings.
iv. Schools are looking into re-opening with safety measures in place. Resources have been made available for all home-schooling.
v. The grass growing through the fencing by the school will be dealt with by LCC.
vi. The barriers at Station Road have been moved back as far as they can be, the work should be finished by the end of June.
vii. The 30mph speed limit request will be chased up.
viii. Staff at LCC and at ELDC are currently working from home or have been re-deployed to help in other areas during the pandemic.

3. To receive declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011
There were no declarations of interest.
7.30pm County Cllr Bowkett left the meeting

4. Notes of the Meeting held on 18 May 2020 to be approved and signed as the minutes
It was proposed by Cllr Dickinson and seconded by Cllr Scott that the minutes, they will be signed by the Chairman in due course.

5. Clerk's report
a. The memorial garden is in need of a good tidy up, Cllr Sweetman will check on the number of garden waste bins at the Church.
b. A letter from the Playing Field Committee regarding the s137 grant was outlined.

6. Chairman's report
The Chairman had nothing to report.

7. Finance report
a. The following payments have been made (£):
i. April Salaries 257.74
ii. K & P Services (handyman) 30.00
b. Balance in current a/c at 20.05.20: £8270.05; Deposit a/c: £15,000.08

8. Audit for the year end 31 March 2020
i. The accounts are with the Internal Auditor
ii. The Elector’s Rights, together with required paperwork, is in the notice boards and
on the website.

9. Planning applications received
The following plans were looked at and supported by the Parish Council:
S/120/00822/20 Mrs S Nash Erection of a detached building to provide a workshop/store and a second building to provide 3 stables, a grooming area and storage for private use, existing stable yard and pole barn on site to be removed at Beckfield Arabians, Midville Lane

There were no planning decisions
