Minutes of the meeting of Eastville, Midville and New Leake Group Parish Council held on Monday 23 May 2022 at 6.45pm in the Eastville, Midville & New Leake Village Hall
1. Apologies for absence
Apologies: Apologies were received from Cllrs Roxburgh and Sweetman
Present: Cllrs Brennan, Baker, Thorold and Nunn (Chair)
2. To receive declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011
There were no declarations of interest.
3. Notes of the meeting held on 25 April 2022 to be approved and signed as the minutes
It was resolved that the minutes be approved and signed as a true record.
4. Finance report
a. To approve the following payments:
i. Salaries (May + back pay) 472.73
ii. K & P Services (Cleaning/repairs bus shelters & memorial) 40.00
iii. TJW Services (Churchyard grass cuts) 576.00
iv. E L Arnold (ink) 42.50
v. LIVES (cheque signed ready to pay for battery and pads – no invoice yet)
b. The accounts are with the Internal Auditor so the bank balances could not be given, but the grant of £500.00 has now been received.
5. Planning applications received
There were no planning applications to be considered.
6. To report planning decisions from ELDC
There were no planning decisions received
7. Matters for the next agenda
To consider a Jubilee Bench for the memorial garden using a Jubilee grant available from ELDC.
8. Date of next meeting: 27 June 2022 at 7.15pm with a Public Forum from 7.00pm
