Annual Parish Meeting 2021
Minutes of the Annual Parish Meeting of Eastville, Midville and New Leake held remotely via Zoom on Monday 19 April 2021 AT 7.05pm
1. Present: Cllrs Baker, Dickinson, Sweetman, Scott, Roxburgh and Nunn (Chairman).
There were no members of the public present
County Cllr Bowkett was present
2. Apologies: Apologies were received from Cllr Thorold
3. Parish Council Chairman’s Annual Report to Parishioners
Cllr Nunn reported that the annual booklet had been produced for 2021 and posted to every property on the electoral roll.
The way the annual Parish Council grant of £3500 is distributed each year is changing. For 2020 and for 2021 the grant will be spent on the Memorial Garden project.
The Parish Councillors have had to use Zoom for meeting from May 2020 and all have managed to get to grips with remote meetings.
4. Approve and sign minutes of the last year’s Annual Parish Meeting held on Monday 15 April 2019
a. Everyone present has a copy of the minutes from the 2019 meeting.
b. It was proposed by Cllr Baker and seconded by Cllr Scott that they be signed as a true record.
5. Any other matters – open to members of the public
Cllr Scott reported that the handrails have now been installed at the slope at St Jude’s
There being no other business the meeting closed at 7.10pm
