PUBLIC FORUM PRIOR TO MEETING ON 12th JUNE 2024
There were no members of the public present.

There were no applications for co-option.

6. Reports from representatives on outside bodies
Dist Cllr Dickinson read out her report, which was also printed and emailed to
Councillors
County Cllr Bowkett read out her report ,which was also printed and emailed to
Councillors
7. Draft Minutes of the last meeting held on 13th May 2024 to be carried over to next meeting 10th July as the
two councillors that attended 13th May were absent from this meeting.
8. Clerk’s report on matters outstanding
Clerk discussed the difficulties involved with the current role, not having up to date equipment
Cllr Nunn agreed and is going to look at prices for a new laptop.
Clerk has attended a further .gov.uk meeting, and effective meeting training course.

10. Lawn Mowing Quotes for local churches
Three quotes were received and reviewed. it was agreed by all councillors that TJW would be
contacted first, followed by Lucy Lawns.
11. Financial matters:
a) Agar
Clerk didn’t realise that paperwork had to be agreed at this meeting, before it went to the auditor,
clerk is now trying to get an extension to submit the paperwork until the 31st July, if this is not
possible then a extra ordinary meeting will need to be arranged.
b) Balance at Bank
Current Account £11,396.55
Deposit Account £25,214.54
c) To appoint the internal auditor for AGAR and PAYE
Five companies were approached for quotes for both the End of Year AGAR and the Payroll but
only two replied, it was agreed that Sarah Nash from Taxing Times Stickney would complete the
internal audit and Payroll.
d) To approve the following payments:
Employee Costs 24/25 – 001050 May - June Salary, Pension and Expenses £569.75
12. Planning applications received for decision at this meeting (can be viewed at www.e-
lindsey.gov.uk/planning):
a) S/120/00802/24 – A R Craven Farms Ltd – Extension to existing poultry building to provide a
free range egg laying unit and provision of an attenuartion basin.
No objections
13. Training
Clerk discussed all of the latest training dates available with LALC. Clerk will do the VAT exempt
council training. Clerk asked if anybody would like to attend the councillor training, but nobody
accepted. If any councillors would like to attend any future training, then the clerk will enrol them
onto course.
14. Memorial Garden Update
Cllr Thorold to ask for a date and a quote for the groundwork.
15. .gov.uk email addresses Update
Clerk attended another meeting regarding new email addresses for councillors, it is now in the
JPAG Practioners guide 2…. That purchasing a new email is best practice to eliminate cyber
attacks through personnel email account. It has been agreed to proceed with getting quotes to
see if this is viable. Clerk will contact some recommended companies, given by the government.
16. Receive Latest Speed Data
Still not able to receive data, Cllr Nunn, to contact Road Safety Partnership to ask them to check
that sign is still working correctly.
17. Defibrillator case update for the Duke of Wellington.
It was agreed by all councillors present that we were unable to give any funding for this because
of clauses in the Grant and Donations document. Cllr Nunn to contact the residents at the
previous Duke of Wellington to inform them of the decision.
